Carsharing, car sharing between colleagues with Hybo

Table of Contents

Another of our new functionalities developed at Hybo is carsharing. With this functionality, you can get to work by sharing a car with other colleagues, allowing employees to save on costs and contribute to environmental protection.

The tool is very simple: one of the colleagues notifies the company through Hybo carsharing that, for example, on Thursday they will be driving to work and indicates who will be in the vehicle; this way, the company will know who will be going to the offices that day and that they will all arrive in the same vehicle. The carsharing service allows up to four passengers.

Carsharing encourages carpooling, thus leaving more parking spaces available than if each employee arrives in his or her own car; it also encourages colleagues to communicate more with each other, e.g. all four employees will interact during the journey. It also promotes sustainability within the company, thus contributing to saving CO2 emissions to the environment.

Tell me more about the advantages of carsharing

  • Cost savings: by sharing a car with other colleagues, employees will be able to split the costs of the journey, such as the price of fuel. This can result in significant savings compared to driving each carsharing member’s car individually.
  • Reduced environmental impact: by promoting car sharing, Hybo car sharing helps to reduce the number of cars on the road, thereby reducing CO2 emissions and their environmental impact. It contributes to greater sustainability by limiting greenhouse gas emissions associated with commuting.
  • Increased communication and interaction between employees: This feature encourages interaction between co-workers who share a ride in the same vehicle. This strengthens working relationships and promotes a collaborative and socially connected work environment.
  • Freeing up parking spaces: The number of vehicles requiring parking on company premises is reduced. This frees up more parking spaces for those employees who really need to use their own car.
  • Reduced traffic and congestion: By employees car sharing, the number of cars on the road is reduced, which in turn helps to reduce traffic congestion. This can have a positive impact on travel times and improves travel efficiency for employees.
  • Promoting collaborative responsibility: by offering the carsharing option, the company shows its commitment to social responsibility and care for the environment. This can be perceived positively by both employees and customers, which strengthens the company’s image and corporate reputation.
  • Encouraging collaboration and teamwork: By sharing the same journey in the same car, employees can interact and collaborate on the way to work. This encourages team spirit, communication and the exchange of ideas between colleagues, which can have a positive impact on collaboration within the company.

Hybo not only manages workspaces, but also offers new experiences in them.
